Dockhead Days

Created by Alan 2 years ago

This poem was published in 1966. I had in mind John and all my boyhood friends, some on here in photos. It was clear that the old days and old ways were going and the future would be different and seemed so uncertain. I was too pessimistic. I hope it proved so for all of us. John will never be an "unknown".

Alan (Jack) Harper

(who once bid 6 Spades with only 3 trumps in hand and was called by John Senior, also of fondest memory, and was thereafter known as, "Jack Ten Seven")
